Born in the province of Lecce in 1972, he graduated in law with honors at the University of Bari in 1994 and became a lawyer in 1997. He joined the law firm Clifford Chance in 1995, and he moved to Consob in 1997, where he worked at the Intermediaries Division for a year. He then returned to Clifford Chance where he worked at the Milan and London offices before becoming partner in 2003. In 2009, he was among the founding members of the law firm RCCD, now Cappelli RCCD, with offices located in Milan, Rome, and London, and where he still works as partner. In his professional activity he has advised several banks, insurance companies, and financial intermediaries, domestic and international, on capital markets transactions (including issuance of equity, bonds and convertible financial instruments, as well as packaged retail investment products and liability management transactions). He has a deep knowledge of laws and regulations affecting capital adequacy of financial intermediaries and a strong experience in transactions aimed at equity consolidation, including issuance of hybrid and subordinated securities. He also worked on market abuse regulations, ownership structure transparency, and corporate governance of listed companies. In his activity as a lawyer he has gained several awards from reliable international legal surveys (he received "Band 1" ranking from Chambers & Partners, "Highly Regarded" status from IFLR 1000, and was inducted in the Legal 500 "Hall of Fame"). He wrote several publications and acted as speaker at conferences and seminars on banking and financial markets issues. In October 2020 he joined the Community of Chairpersons of the World Economic Forum. In December 2020 he was appointed member of the Italian Corporate Governance Committee and in May 2021 he was appointed member of the Committee of Market Operators and Investors (COMI) set up by Consob. From December 2020 to October 2021 he was Co-Chair of the B20 Italy 2021 "Integrity & Compliance" Task Force. In December 2021 he was appointed member of the B20 Indonesia 2022 "Finance and Infrastructure" Task Force. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Ansaldo STS in 2017 and 2018. He has been Chair of Enel's Board of Directors since May 2020.

Ana Gallego is the Director-General for Justice and Consumers at the European Commission since November 2021. Before joining the European Commission she was Director-General of International Legal Cooperation and Human Rights in the Ministry of Justice in Spain. She has a degree in law from the University of Granada, Spain and studies in Translation and Interpretation from the same university.

Dr. Dominique Gillebeert ist seit 2009 Leiterin der Stabsstelle für Vielfalt und Chancengleichheit der Stadtverwaltung der "Engagierten Stadt" Ingelheim am Rhein. Sie ist Mitglied des Landesbeirates für Migration und Integration des Landes RLP und der LAG der Integrationsbeauftragten RLP. Sie ist Teil des Sprecher*innenkreises des Initiativausschuss RLP und arbeitet mit im bundesweiten Qualitätszirkel zur Integration. Sie arbeitet zu den Themen Vielfalt, Migration, Integration, Asyl und Diversität, sowie zu Antidiskriminierung und Antirassimusarbeit. Sie war von 2006 bis 2008 Integrationsbeauftragte in Neunkirchen und in 2009 Integrationskoordinatorin des Stadtjugendrings Aschaffenburg. Sie promovierte zu ethischen und moralischen Themen in der Kinderliteratur in Darmstadt.
